Magic Night was a nod to how I first started learning how to oil paint. For me, painting stars and galaxies allowed me to feel how oil paints blend, spread, and layer. All artists, I think, have a moment where they feel a little lost in different ways in the studio. This litte guy helped me relax and reminded me to enjoy the process.
